We're picking up in Taurenne!
The olive harvest has begun at the Domaine.
After a first week on the trees pruned this year and harvested under the sun, the weather came to disrupt the harvest with two weeks of storms and torrential rains, damaging the trees and bringing down some ripe olives.
Fortunately in Provence the sun is like at home, and its return has put us back to work! The mill is running at full speed and the trunk vibrator, which empties an olive tree in one minute, is processing rows full of ripe fruit.
The new vintage suggests a very fine vintage that holds two pleasant surprises...
